Pedestrian Injured in North Highlands Hit-and-Run at Watt and Roseville
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (August 26, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Watt Avenue and Roseville Road in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident late Thursday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 11:50 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the victim at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Roseville Road in North Highlands.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Sacramento McClellan Airport. They found the pedestrian hurt as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident. The name of the wounded person and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Watt Avenue and Roseville Road to close following the collision.
The cause of the North Highlands hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
