Scooter Rider Seriously Injured in North Highlands Crash on Madison Avenue
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (August 23, 2021) – A scooter rider was seriously injured after a crash on Madison Avenue in North Highlands.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Monday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:13 p.m.
According to CHP, a dark gray Honda Accord and the scooter rider collided for an unknown reason in North Highlands. They crashed in the 4600 block of Madison Avenue.
Collision Near Interstate 80
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Interstate 80. They found the victim who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Madison Avenue to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the North Highlands crash.
