3 Men Hospitalized in Serious Condition
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (August 21, 2024) — A car accident involving a pedestrian happened Monday at Victory Boulevard and Vineland Avenue in North Hollywood.
Three people were injured in the crash near 11000 West Victory Boulevard at around 1:55 p.m. on August 19th, according to a report by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two motorists collided at the intersection and one struck a 22-year-old man and a traffic signal pole which landed on the vehicle and trapped two people.
Two men ages 26 and 35 years old who were in the sedan were freed by arriving firefighters from their vehicle.
The 65-year-old woman driving the second vehicle had minor injuries and declined an ambulance.
However, LAFD paramedics transported the 22-year-old male pedestrian as well as the two men from the vehicle that hit the young man to a trauma center. They were all listed in serious condition, but there are no further details.
Finally, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division is heading up the investigation into the Incident #2596.
