2-Vehicle Collision on State Route 170
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (July 11, 2023) — A two-vehicle North Hollywood crash happened Tuesday morning on the 170 Freeway, just south of Oxnard Street.
The collision occurred on State Route 170 around 11:23 a.m. on July 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers and paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the northbound Hollywood Freeway. They located the drivers of a black Ford Mustang sedan and a red vehicle involved in the collision.
The Mustang sustained major rear-end damage in the collision and also hit the center divider.
It’s unknown how many people were hurt in the crash.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
