LOS ANGELES, California (September 27, 2016) – A woman identified as Patricia Richison, 75, in a wheelchair was killed in a hit-and-run crash in North Hollywood early Tuesday morning, according to CBS Los Angeles.
The collision took place about 3:30 a.m. in the area of Burbank Boulevard and Bonner Avenue.
As per the article, Los Angeles Police Department said Richison was struck and dragged by a vehicle for at least 100 feet.
The 75-year-old woman was immediately transported to a hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The suspect was reportedly driving a 2010-2013 white Ford Transit van at the time of the fatal accident.
