Woman, 3 Children Injured in North Hollywood Pedestrian Crash on Oxnard Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 9, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a pedestrian crash on Oxnard Street in North Hollywood.
According to the KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles, the accident happened on Friday night. Officers reported the collision at around 5:50 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said a vehicle struck a female pedestrian and three children in the North Hollywood neighborhood. The driver hit them for an unknown reason near 10900 West Oxnard Street.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters arrived and found one of the victims, a 5-year-old boy, who sustained severe injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital in critical condition.
Medical personnel took the woman and the other two children in moderate condition. The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties.
Meanwhile, the motorist stopped and stayed at the site following the incident. Officers forced a stretch of Oxnard Street to shut down for a time after the accident.
The cause of the North Hollywood pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
