
5 Injured in North Park Crash at Park Boulevard and University Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 5, 2023) – Several were injured after a crash at Park Boulevard and University Avenue in North Park.
According to an article published by the FOX 5 News, the accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck on March 4 at around 8:30 p.m.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the North Park neighborhood. The cars crashed at the intersection of Park Boulevard and University Avenue.
2 Cars Collide
One car rolled onto its side due to the impact of the collision. Two occupants became trapped inside the overturned vehicle as a result of the incident.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed them from the wreckage. The three people riding the second car also ended up hurt following the wreck.
Medical personnel then rushed all five patients to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries. The reports did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Park and University to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the North Park crash is still under investigation.
