NORTHRIDGE (April 13, 2017)- According to the Northridge Police Department, a 2-car collision occurred at the 18200 block of Lassen Street Tuesday evening.
The accident occurred at roughly 11:10 p.m. between a black sedan and gold sedan.
The brown sedan incurred moderate damage as it came to rest directly behind the black sedan which had pretty serious damage to the front and side of the vehicle and had run onto the sidewalk from the road.
Video footage showed a black male being loaded onto a stretcher with a head and or neck injury.
Other footage showed a white male sitting on the curb talking on the phone being treated for minor injuries including a laceration to his face.
Details regarding the collision remain unclear as to what the cause or trigger of the accident. Los Angeles PD has not disclosed whether drugs or alcohol were contributing
