NORTHRIDGE, Ca (July 5, 2019) – A double fatal traffic collision occurred Friday morning on Reseda Boulevard, the NBC News reported.
Officials said an officer tried to pull over the driver of a 1997 white Toyota Paseo shortly after 1 a.m. at Reseda Boulevard and Chatsworth Street in Porter Ranch. Our sources indicated the Toyota was speeding and had expired registration tags.
Then, the Toyota driver–24-year-old Joseph Carretero, failed to yield and fled the scene heading south on Reseda. Authorities mentioned Carretero drove at high speeds and even ran at least two red lights. As a result, the CHP officer pursuing the motorist opted to break off the chase due to the suspect’s erratic driving, but continued following from a distance.
