Woman Killed, 2 Men Badly Injured in Fiery Crash at White Oak Avenue and Lassen Street
LOCATION: Northridge, Los Angeles County
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, November 19th
November 19, 2018 – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a car accident at the intersection of White Oak Avenue and Lassen Street early Monday.
According to KTLA News, a black Toyota sedan was traveling in the area when suddenly, the driver lost control of the car and slammed into a traffic pole. The crash caused the to Toyota to burst into flames.
Deadly Car Accident Monday in Northridge
Primary reports indicated a female passenger died as a result of the incident. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Furthermore, officials mentioned the male driver, and another man survived the crash. Both parties were reportedly taken to hospitals, where they were listed in critical conditions. The names of the patients have not been disclosed thus far.
As per the article, detectives believe the car was speeding on Lassen Street prior to the collision. Further investigation on the case is underway.
