Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on State Route 118
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (May 18, 2023) — A Northridge motorcycle accident on Thursday happened on the Ronald Reagan 118 Freeway, just east of Tampa Avenue.
The three-vehicle collision occurred around 8:04 a.m. on May 18th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

A drivers in a blue Ford and a maroon van reportedly struck the motorcyclist in the HOV lane of the freeway. It’s unknown what circumstances led up to the collision at this time.
The vehicles were blocking the eastbound HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of State Route 118, police said.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help the injured rider, but it’s unknown if they took the person to a hospital.
Meanwhile, a tow truck came to remove the damaged motorcycle and the van which had front-end damage from the accident.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Northridge motorcycle accident on the 118 Freeway.
