Motorcyclist, 36, Severely Injured in Northridge Hit-and-Run at Winnetka and Roscoe
LOS ANGELES (May 11, 2020) – A motorcyclist was severely injured after an alleged hit-and-run crash in the area of Winnetka Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard earlier this month.
According to an article published by The Daily News, the accident occurred on May 1 at around 10:45 p.m. in the Northridge neighborhood.
Police said the incident began when a 36-year-old man was riding a motorcycle southbound on Winnetka Avenue, passing Roscoe Boulevard.
At the same time, a vehicle was making a left turn from northbound Winnetka into westbound Roscoe. The two then collided in the intersection.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider left lying in the roadway and suffering from severe injuries following the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the victim to the hospital for treatment. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not available.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved stopped briefly following the wreck but ultimately took off. Officers described the suspect car as a 2014 to 2017 Jeep Cherokee.
