2-Vehicle Crash on the I-5 Freeway in Norwalk
NORWALK, Calif. (August 29, 2022) — A Norwalk crash Monday morning on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of Rosecrans Avenue resulted in injuries.
The two-vehicle collision occurred just before 6 a.m. on August 29th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a gray Jeep were involved in the crash in the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes of the freeway.
One of the vehicles lost its back rear tire and the pickup truck had major front-end damage.
At least one person suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles and investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
