At Least 1 Hurt in Rollover Collision on State Route 42 Thursday
Norwalk, CA (October 23, 2021) – On October 21, a suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route 42, also known as Firestone Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic collision took place at the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Studebaker Road. At this time, the make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 10:05 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims in the accident. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Authorities continue to withhold the name and age of the victim pending confirmation.

The CHP dispatch mentioned one party involved in the wreck fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the car crash in Norwalk is underway.
