Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Norwalk Hit-and-Run on Pioneer Boulevard
NORWALK (June 2, 2018) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after an alleged hit-and-run crash along Pioneer Boulevard on Wednesday, May 30, according to KTLA.
The collision took place at about 6 a.m., north of the 5 Freeway.
As per the article, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Norwalk Station said the male motorcyclist was going south on Pioneer Boulevard when at the same time a van pulled out of a convenience store driveway.
The van then went into the path of a motorcycle. The bike ultimately slammed at full speed into the rear driver’s side of the van.

Deputies affirmed that the rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was left with major injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. His name was not released.
Meanwhile, the driver of the van did not stop to render aid and continued northbound on Pioneer. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man between the age of 50 to 55 with a gray mustache. He is about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds.
The motorist was last seen wearing a white cowboy hat with a long-sleeved orange work shirt with “J.B. Landscape” print on the back with blue jeans. The van is believed to be a 2000 to 2004 Chevrolet Astro or GMC Safari with significant damage to the rear driver’s side.
