Novar Ismailyan, 73, Killed in Hit-and-Run at Glenoaks and Linden
GLENDALE (December 22, 2018) – An elderly pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident in the area of Glenoaks Boulevard and Linden Avenue Friday evening, according to KTLA and NBC Los Angeles.
The victim has been identified as 73-year-old Novar Ismailyan, of Glendale.
As per the reports, police said Ismailyan was struck for an unknown reason by a vehicle at the intersection of Glenoaks Boulevard and Linden Avenue.
The collision took place on December 21 at around 7:20 p.m. in what appeared to be a very dark portion of the road.

The woman was left lying in the roadway in front of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church following the crash. Paramedics responded and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, police affirmed the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled after hitting Ismailyan. The incident remains under investigation.
