Major Injury Collision Near San Antonio Road Offramp

Novato, CA (May 21, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 101 May 18, Thursday.

Auto vs. Motorcycle Crash on SR-101 in Novato

The California Highway Patrol group reported a man riding a Yamaha Sports motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the southbound side of SR-101. Officials said the crash took place near the San Antonio Road offramp in Novato.

CHP logged the case at about 6:34 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the crash site, they immediately checked the conditions of the two drivers involved in the collision. The evaluation determined one person sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation, the name and age of the victim remained undisclosed.

Several factors surrounding the crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the traffic accident happened on State Route Highway 101 in Novato.
