1 Seriously Injured in Nuevo Car Crash on Lakeview Avenue
NUEVO, CA (June 18, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Lakeview Avenue in Nuevo.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Friday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly before 6 p.m.
The incident log said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Nuevo. They crashed at 28819 Lakeview Avenue near Apricot Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide Near Apricot Avenue
CHP described the cars involved as a gold Toyota Hilux SR5 and a minivan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who possibly sustained a broken arm as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a portion of Lakeview Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Nuevo crash.
