3 Badly Injured in Nuevo Crash Near Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue
NUEVO, CA (September 29, 2022) – A car crash near Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue left several people badly injured in Nuevo.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:03 p.m.
The incident happened when four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Nuevo. The cars crashed near the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of five people involved. Cal Fire confirmed that three victims ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patients to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Nuevo crash is still under investigation.
