Officer, Driver Injured in Traffic Collision at Ramona Expressway at Lakeview Avenue Wednesday
Nuevo, CA (July 21, 2021) – Two people, including a California Highway Patrol officer, suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Ramona Expressway at Lakeview Avenue.
According to My News LA, a sedan struck a marked patrol unit at the intersection in Nuevo. The collision took place at approximately 4:05 p.m.

Riverside County Fire Department personnel responded to the crash site. Rescue teams reportedly requested separate ambulances. The article published online indicated bot the California Highway Patro officer, and the civilian driver sustained injuries from the incident.
However, both parties apparently declined transport to the hospital. Given that, paramedics treated the patients at the scene.
Investigators stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car accident in Nuevo.
