Nyo Chung, 82, Killed in Torrance Pedestrian Accident on Anza Ave
TORRANCE, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2017) — Nyo Chung, 82, of Torrance was attempting to cross Anza Avenue was struck and killed Sunday night near Spencer Street, according to a report by the Torrance Police Department.
The crash took place about 6:24 p.m. The woman was inside a crosswalk when she was hit by the motorist who had the green light.
The woman died of her injuries at the scene of the crash. The driver stopped and was questioned by police, but drugs and or alcohol were not suspected.

Police are heading up an investigation into liability for this collision and will determine fault.
