OAKDALE: Christene Busser Killed in Crash on Highway 120
OAKDALE, California (April 7, 2017) – A fatal traffic collision occurred Friday afternoon on Highway 108 also known as Highway 120, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP said two vehicles and a semi-truck were involved in the accident at precisely 4:44 p.m.
In an article by The Modesto Bee, police reported that for reasons unknown a Mustang, a pickup truck and a big rig collided. The woman driving the Mustang identified as Christene Busser, 47, of Modesto, sadly suffered fatal injured following the collision.
The driver of the pickup and the semi-truck only being identified as men sustained injuries considered as minor.
At this time, police officials believe that one of the drivers was either rear-ended and pushed into the intersection at Stearns Road or someone was attempting to make a turn onto Stearns Road before the crash.
An investigation is ongoing at this time as the Oakdale Police Department and the California Highway Patrol team up to investigate the crash.
Drugs and alcohol have not been ruled out at thus far as a possible contributing factor.
