Two Vehicles Off the Roadway Near Lancaster Road
Oakdale, Calif. (July 27, 2023) — A multi-vehicle accident happened Thursday morning along State Route 108 near Lancaster Road in Oakdale California.
The collision occurred about 10:16 a.m. on July 27th, in Stanislaus County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident near Lancaster Road included multiple vehicles. The cars involved in the crash were a white vehicle, an SUV and an unidentified vehicle. After the initial collision the white vehicle ran off the roadway, meanwhile another car involved ran into an almond orchard near the roadway. Following the crash, it was reported that a women got out of one of the vehicles and starting walking away acting confused.
The paramedics were called and responded to help those hurt in the crash. In addition, the fire department in the area was summoned and arrived on scene.
Tow trucks also arrived on the accident scene to help clear the debris and damaged cars from the freeway. Investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault for the accident on State Route 108.
