Oakdale Crash at Lon Dale Road (SR-120) and Cleveland Avenue

3 Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision at Oakdale Intersection

OAKDALE, Calif. (June 13, 2025) — Three people were injured Thursday night in an Oakdale crash on Lon Dale Road (SR-120) at Cleveland Avenue.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 9:01 PM on June 12th at the Oakdale intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol. Two pickup trucks were involved in the head-on crash and sustained major front-end damage.

Dramatic Rescue by Firefighters

CHP deputies responded and located at least one person trapped and one vehicle on fire, the report said. Firefighters rescued the person who was trapped in one of the vehicles and extinguished the fire.

Meanwhile, the vehicles were found roughly 150 yards apart, and paramedics located three people with injuries. Both drivers were airlifted to hospitals due to major injuries and a third person was taken to a hospital by ground ambulance with undisclosed injuries.

Finally, the California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation into the cause of the collision.
