1 Seriously Injured in Oakdale Hit-and-Run Crash on 26 Mile Road Near Parsons Ranch
OAKDALE, CA (August 27, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash on 26 Mile Road in Oakdale.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at around 8:09 p.m.
CHP said about three to four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Oakdale. They crashed at 12344 26 Mile Road in front of a mobile home park.
A pickup truck rolled onto its side upon impact. The incident log added that a car went 10 feet off the roadway near Parsons Ranch as a result of the collision.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then extricated a trapped occupant from the wreckage. They confirmed that one victim sustained major injuries.
Medical personnel soon took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced a stretch of 26 Mile Road to shut down following the wreck.
The Oakdale hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
