OAKDALE: Truck, SUV Crash on Highway 120, 26 Mile Road (8/28)

OAKDALE, Calif. (August 28, 2026) — A two-vehicle crash involving a big rig truck happened Friday morning in East Oakdale on Highway 120 at 26 Mile Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The traffic accident happened around 11:52 a.m. on Aug. 28th, between a white semi-truck and a white Suburban SUV, the report said.
The vehicles were blocking the northbound lane on SR-120 and resulted in minor injuries, police said. Paramedics responded and transported one person with the last name Edwards to Oak Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Meanwhile, TNT Towing was called to remove one of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The cause of the crash and liability remain under investigation.
