Fatal Traffic Collision Near Cedar Valley Drive Sunday
Oakhurst, CA (December 26, 2021) – At least one person died following a car crash that occurred in the area of State Route 41 and Cedar Valley Drive.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two or more vehicles collided on the southbound lanes of the highway in Oakhurst. According to the CHP dispatch, first responders found one car emitting smoke; and another vehicle rolled approximately 20 feet down the cliff.
Deadly Car Crash on State Rotue 41 in Oakhurst, December 26
Shortly after 4:48 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities sadly pronounced one person dead from injuries sustained in the wreck. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Additional details on the deadly car accident have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal car accident on State Route 41 in Oakhurst.
