OAKHURST: Denise Kellerhals Victim in Fatal Motorcycle Crash, Lawrence Kellerhals Injured

 Oakhurst motorcycle crashOAKHURST, California (July 20, 216) — Per the Fresno Bee, Denise Kellerhals, 64, of Oakhurst, has been identified as the victim fatally injured in a motorcycle collision Wednesday afternoon.

The crash took place about 1:19 p.m. where Highway 41 and River Falls Road intersect.

The Fresno Bee reports that Lawrence Kellerhals and his wife, Denise Kellerhals, were on a Harley Davidson headed northbound on Highway 41.

At the same time, a Texas man identified as Gary Ship was turning onto Highway 41 from River Falls Road in an SUV failing to yield to the couple resulting in a collision ejecting both Denise and Lawrence from the bike.

Both Kellerhals were rushed to Community Regional Medical Center.

Denise tragically did not survive her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Lawrence will survive as his injuries are confirmed to have been moderate, per the Fresno Bee.

Ship was uninjured in the collision.

Police officials have determined that no drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
