2 Hospitalized After Collision at 14th and Kirkham
Oakland, CA (May 29, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of 14th and Kirkham Street Saturday afternoon.
According to KRON News, two vehicles collided at the intersection in Oakland. The make and model of the cars involved in the accident have not been revealed thus far.
Primary reports indicated the collision took place around 1 p.m. Due to the force from the impact, the two vehicles sustained major damage.
Major Injury Car Crash in Oakland
Responding medical personnel rendered aid all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the two drivers sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics transported the two patients, including one driver carried on a stretcher, to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to gather information to determine whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the accident.
