Multi-Vehicle Crash on 580 Freeway Near San Pablo Avenue

October 27, 2018 – A multi-vehicle accident occurred on the Interstate 580 Freeway Thursday afternoon, according to the Patch.
For reasons still under investigation, five vehicles collided on the westbound lanes of the freeway near San Pablo Avenue. Officials said the impact resulted in at least two vehicles facing the wrong direction.
When emergency personnel responded to the accident scene, they reportedly attended to the parties involved. It was not immediately discussed if there were serious injuries in the crash.

California Highway Patrol will carry out a forensic examination of all vehicles involved, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators draw up a firm conclusion for what happened.
