Oakland Crash Highway 24 and Claremont Avenue
OAKLAND, Calif. (June 5, 2025) — A multi-vehicle crash in Oakland on Highway 24 resulted in major injuries Thursday afternoon near Claremont Avenue.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision around 2 p.m. on June 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials said a grey Toyota Camry had major damage following the collision with a red Honda Pilot and a third motorist. It’s unknown what caused the crash blocking the eastbound State Route 24.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with major injuries, but there are no further details.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Highway 24 in Oakland.
