3-Vehicle Oakland Crash I-80 Freeway at Bay Bridge Toll Plaza
OAKLAND, Calif. (August 10, 2022) — Four people were injured Wednesday in a multi-vehicle crash on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway at the Bay Bridge Toll Plaza.
The crash occurred about 5:33 a.m. on August 10th in the westbound toll lane No. 4 from the left, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a blue 2008 Infiniti G35 and two other motorists collided due to unknown circumstances. Paramedics responded to help those injured in the Oakland crash. Three people in one of the vehicles and one person in the second vehicle suffered injuries. At least one of them had major injuries following the crash.
The Infiniti suffered major left-side damage in the collision in the Oakland crash.
Police issued a SigAlert about 5:46 a.m. due to several westbound left lanes being blocked due to the collision.
Finally, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Oakland crash on the Interstate 80 Freeway.
