Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near High Street
Oakland, CA (April 8, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on Interstate 580 Thursday, the NBC News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck an individual in the westbound lanes of the freeway in Oakland. Officials said the horrible crash took place in the area just west of High Street.

When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the victim lying on the ground. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the victim. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to their injuries and eventually passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives stayed at the location after the incident. They continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident on Interstate 580 in Oakland.
