1 Killed in Traffic Collision on 880 Freeway Saturday
Oakland, CA (May 1, 2021) – One person died following a fatal car crash that occurred Saturday morning on Interstate 880 Freeway in Oakland, the San Francisco Chronicle News reported.
Our sources indicated two vehicles collided in the southbound side of I-880. Authorities identified the cars involved in the wreck as a Honda sedan, and a van.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site near 66th Avenue exit.

Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the victim, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
