Driver of Chevy Tahoe Victim in Fatal Rear-End CollisionOAKLAND (June 27, 2018)- According to the East Bay Times, a deadly rear-end collision left a man dead Wednesday morning on westbound Highway 24 at Broadway.
California Highway Patrol officials did not indicate an exact time when the crash occurred but did confirm that the driver of a Honda Civic collided into the back of a Chevy Tahoe before being struck by a passing Toyota Camry.
According to the East Bay Times, the driver of the Tahoe who has only been identified as a man was ejected from his vehicle tragically suffering fatal injuries in the process.
No information was provided on the status of either the Honda Civic driver of the motorist in the Toyota.
Following the accident, westbound Highway 24 was just about completely shut down leaving only a single lane open for motorists for nearly three hours.
