Motorcyclist Injured in Suspected Hit-and-Run Accident on 80 Freeway
DATE OF COLLISION: Friday, January 4th
January 4, 2019 – Injuries were reported following an alleged hit-and-run collision on the Interstate 80 Freeway near Appian Way off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
The accident was logged on Friday at 3:02 p.m.

As per the dispatch, a motorcyclist collided into another vehicle on the eastbound lanes of the highway. First responders reportedly found the motorcycle rider lying in the roadway. Officials said the man, whose identity remained unknown, suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, the other motorist involved apparently drove away after the collision. No immediate information has been yet disclosed on the hit-and-run driver.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
