Motorcyclist Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Highway 24 Friday
OAKLAND, Ca (July 19, 2019) – One person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision on Highway 24 Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol group.

Initial records indicated a large dark green SUV struck a motorcycle rider in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Broadway onramp.
When emergency teams arrived at the crash site, they found the motorcyclist standing in the center divider of SR-24. Medics immediately rendered aid to the victim, and determined the man sustained injuries as a result of the collision. At this time, the name of the patient and the severity of their trauma remained undisclosed.
Officials later mentioned the driver of the SUV evaded the scene before police arrived. Investigators accounted the case as a hit-and-run.
