Motorcyclist Hurt in Oakland Motorcycle Crash on I-80 Freeway
OAKLAND, Calif. (March 4, 2021) — A motorcyclist went down in a multi-vehicle Oakland motorcycle accident Thursday on the Interstate 80 Freeway.
Just after 6:38 a.m. on March 4th, police arrived at the scene of the Oakland accident, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Motorcyclist Hurt in Oakland Accident on I-80
One of the drivers involved told authorities that the motorcycle ran into her vehicle. However, the report did not mention what led up to the collision. The vehicles blocked the No. 1 lane of the freeway. Paramedics found the motorcyclist suffering from undisclosed injuries at the crash scene. It’s unknown if others were hurt too.
Additionally, a third vehicle may also be involved in the Oakland motorcycle accident. The CHP report does not give descriptions of any of the involved vehicles.
Police took down details and statements from all those involved in the crash. They didn’t mention if there were witnesses or not.
Furthermore, investigators are reviewing the facts and will determine cause and liability for the Oakland motorcycle versus car crash.
