Major Injury Collision Near Highway 24
Oakland, CA (March 24, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Interstate 580 Freeway and State Route Highway 24.
Auto vs. Motorcycle Accident on I-580 in Oakland
Our sources indicated a man riding a black Honda motorcycle collided with another vehicle in the eastbound side of I-580. The crash took place near the connecting ramp onto SR-24 in Oakland.
CHP logged the case Thursday, March 23, around 11:44 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived, they immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, officers confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the crash. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the crash happened at Interstate 580 Freeway and State Route Highway 24 in Oakland.
