OAKLAND: Orlando Brooks Victim in Accident on 40th Street

Brooks had been crossing the road in a wheelchair before being hit by a vehicle near Emeryville.

Orlando Brooks sadly did not survive the impact of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver, an Oakland resident, remained at the scene and was determined to not have been under the influence of any drugs or alcohol.
