Oakland Man Injured in Hit-and-Run on MacArthur Boulevard Sunday
OAKLAND (September 10, 2018) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after an alleged hit-and-run accident along MacArthur Boulevard on Sunday morning, according to East Bay Times.
The collision was reported on September 9 at about 6:10 a.m. in the 5000 block of MacArthur Boulevard.
As per the article, police said an Oakland man was crossing MacArthur Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle that was headed south at the time.
Oakland Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the pedestrian with unspecified injuries as a result of the crash.

The victim was then immediately taken to a local where he was listed in stable condition. His name was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. The suspect car was believed to be a Nissan model.
