OAKLAND: Rollover Crash on 880 Freeway Bridge Ramp to Oakland Bay Bridge

Oakland crashOAKLAND, California (May 13, 2016) — A multi-vehicle collision involving several overturned cars was reported Friday morning on the southbound Interstate 880 Freeway at the ramp to the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway Oakland Bay Bridge, a California Highway Patrol report said.

The report stated there a yellow older model Chevrolet Camaro and another motorist were driving fast before they both spun out and one that both of them overturned. A third vehicle was sideways in the right lane possibly against the guardrail. A male driver exited one of the vehicles and it appeared there were no serious injuries. Paramedics were called to the scene to help anyone who was hurt in the crash.

“Hopefully there were no injuries involved in this crash, but it’s not uncommon for muscular injuries to present themselves hours later or the day after the collision,” said Attorney James Johnson. “It’s best to get rest and see a doctor if this happens.”
