2 Injured in Oakley Head-On Crash on Bethel Island Road Near Dutch Slough
OAKLEY, CA (April 11, 2021) – A car crash left two people injured along Bethel Island Road in Oakley on Sunday night.
According to an article published by the East County Today, officers received a call about the accident at around 8:43 p.m.
The East Contra Costa Fire Protection District said at least two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason. They crashed on Bethel Island Road near Dutch Slough Road in Oakley.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene, just prior to the bridge to Bethel Island. They found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One patient suffered major injuries while the other sustained minor injuries upon impact. Medical personnel rushed them to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, officials forced the road to shut down following the Oakley crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
