Woman, Toddler Hospitalized After Collision Near Big Break Road Tuesday
Oakley, CA (November 16, 2021) – A mother and child suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on Main Street Tuesday evening, the KRON4 News reported.
According to the article published online, two adult female and the toddler were in a vehicle traveling in the streets of Oakley. The make and model of the car remained unknown at this time.
Officials said the vehicle veered off the roadway for an unknown reason. Subsequently, the car plowed through the Taco Bell near Big Break Road.
Major Injury Car Crash on Main Street in Oakley, November 16
Shortly after 6:40 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the woman and toddler both with major injuries. Due to the condition of the victims, paramedics requested a helicopter to land near the crash site.
Authorities mentioned the 30-year-old woman was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek; while the 3-year-old girl was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Oakland.
Investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car accident on Main Street in Oakland.
