OAKLEY (September 22, 2016)- According to the California Highway Patrol and the EastBayTimes, a DUI crash involving a motorcyclist and a vehicle took place Saturday, September 17th.
The incident was reported at roughly 10:46 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Empire Avenue.
Oakley police officials indicated that motorcyclist was moderately injured and hospitalized as the driver of the vehicle was determined to have been under the influence.
The suspected DUI driver’s vehicle was only described as a small sedan with unknown make and model.
The motorist was subsequently arrested and has not been identified by name after being jailed.
No further information was been provided at this time as the investigation remains ongoing.
