Rider Badly Hurt in Road Accident on 76th Avenue

Oasis, CA (November 7, 2022) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of Highway 86 and 76th Avenue.

According to My News LA, a man riding a motorbike collided with a semi truck at the junction in Oasis Monday afternoon. Earlier reports indicated the accident sparked a small fire under the big rig, and a nearby spot of vegetation.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after 4:30 p.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to both the motorcyclist, and the operator of the truck. After the evaluation, officials confirmed the rider sustained severe trauma in the collision. A helicopter was eventually requested to transport the patient to a hospital for further treatment.

Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened at Highway 86 and 76th Avenue.
