Obed Orellena Dead, 2 Injured in Head-On Collision on South Maple Avenue Tuesday
San Francisco, CA (April 21, 2021) – 25-year-old Obed Orellena died following a traffic accident on South Maple Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
The CBS San Francisco reported three vehicles crashed head-on in the 200 block of South Maple Avenue. The catastrophic incident took place at approximately 12:20 p.m.

Officials said Obed Orellena, of San Francisco, was an occupant in one of the cars involved in the wreck. Our sources indicated the man sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. Responding medics transported Obed Orellena to a hospital, where he later sadly died.
Meanwhile, authorities added two other parties sustained major injuries in the accident. The names of the victims, and their conditions at this time remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly car crash in South San Francisco.
