Boy looking at Christmas displays is hit by a car in Ocean Beach
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2018) — A 7-year-old child who was with his family looking at Christmas lights Monday night was struck by a car in the 4700 block of Newport Avenue.
The car accident took place about 6:30 p.m. at Ebers Street.
Ocean Beach Pedestrian Accident
The child and his family were in the area to enjoy the Christmas displays when the boy walked into the street and was struck by a car.
The young boy suffered a broken leg and was transported to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver stopped and cooperated with the accident investigation.

Police are reviewing all the evidence to determine fault for this collision.
