Major Injury Collision on San Diego (5) Freeway Friday
Oceanside, CA (June 5, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a car accident on Interstate 5, also known as San Diego Freeway, in Oceanside.
The California Highway Patrol group reportedly four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the southbound side of I-5. Officials described the cars found at the scene as a black Ford C-Max; a white Ford Explorer; and a Lexus sedan. The make and model of the fourth automobile involved in the wreck remained unknown at this time.
At Least 1 Severely Hurt After Car Accident in Oceanside, June 4
Shortly after 3 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the accident scene, near Las Pulgas Road. First responders found an occupant from the Lexus with injuries. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim, and later transferred them to a hospital for treatment of major trauma including a dislocated shoulder.
The conditions of other parties involved in the multi-vehicle collision remained unknown at this time.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident on Interstate 5 in Oceanside happened.
