3 Hospitalized After Collision Near Foussat Road
Oceanside, CA (April 23, 2022) – Several people suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Highway 76, according to ABC10 News.
Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 76 in Oceanside
Earlier reports indicated multiple vehicles collided on CA-76 near Foussat Road Saturday evening. Officials mentioned the crash involved as many as three automobiles. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck remained unknown.
Shortly after 9:20 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one car rolled down the ditch. Authorities said they extricated two occupants trapped in overturned vehicle.
After the successful extrication process, emergency crews transported them to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Paramedics added they transported a third patient in unknown condition to the hospital. Personal information on the injured parties have not been revealed thus far pending confirmation.
Detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened on Highway 76 in Oceanside.
